Driving Directions
From the North:
- Take Interstate 91 South.
- Get off I-91 at Exit 14, which is I-90/Mass. Pike
- Take Mass. Pike West five miles to Exit 41 (Westfield)
- Turn right onto routes 10/202 South, travel for about two miles through town to the Westfield Public Library (on your right)
- Turn right onto Court street/Western Avenue for 2.5 miles
- Westfield State University is on your right
From the South:
- Take Interstate 91 North
- Follow directions from above
From the East:
- Travel to I-90/Mass. Pike until you reach Exit 41
- Follow directions from above
Please do your best to arrive at your designated check-in time. Registration times were scheduled based on your agency’s estimated driving time.
Director Smedly has called a MANDATORY advisor’s meeting at 1400 hours at the Wilson Auditorium. Director Smedly is adamant that all advisors attend. It will be quick.
Check-in will be at Scanlon Hall
Overnight parking will be in the commuter lot

Check-In and Drop-Off Procedures

Parents/Guardians are NOT permitted in the dormitory or registration area during check-in for security reasons.

Cadet gear/luggage must remain in vehicles until the check-in process is complete.

Upon arrival, advisors should report to the registration table at Scanlon Hall to meet with academy administrative staff.

Cadets are not allowed in the registration area until they are directed to enter.

Advisors will address any last-minute issues and, once all steps are complete, will receive dorm room keys from housing.

Cadets with medications or medical concerns must meet with the academy nurse prior to proceeding to their program check-in.

Once cadets have checked in with their assigned programs, they may return to their dorms to unpack and set up their rooms.

Please encourage cadets to begin hydrating the night before arrival.

It is strongly recommended that agencies/posts convoy to campus with only advisors and cadets. Personal vehicles for cadets are not permitted on campus.
