Congratulations to former cadet and now Stamford Police Recruit, Buckley Ryan!Buckley served as a Norwalk Police Cadet for six years, gaining valuable experience and leadership skills. He continued his commitment to service by joining the Connecticut National Guard as a Military Police Officer.Now, Buckley takes the next step in his journey as he joins the ranks of the Stamford Police Department. Check out East Winsdor's New Uniforms! Looking good!The EWPD would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the town residents, businesses, organizations and donors who helped us outfit our Police Cadets. They are so proud to wear their uniforms and we too share in their enthusiasm! We will be reaching out individually to personally thank those who made a donation. Please look for our Cadets in the upcoming town Memorial Day as they will be marching along side the rest of the participants.

Congratulations to former Fairfield Cadet Chief Alvarez-Whalen for his years of service as a NERLEEA Cadet!Farewell Chief: Erick Alvarez-Whalen Ages OutToday, we celebrate both a birthday and a milestone. Erick Alvarez-Whalen turns 21 and officially ages out of the Fairfield Police Cadet Program after an extraordinary 7-year journey of service, leadership, and dedication.Erick’s impact on this program is immeasurable. Starting as a new cadet, he rose through the ranks: Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and ultimately Cadet Chief. He guided our post through a period of tremendous growth. What began as a small group of dedicated cadets has become a thriving, disciplined, and competitive program with over 30 active members, thanks in large part to Erick’s leadership.Under his direction, the Fairfield Cadets earned 1st place victories at both Stations Day and Tactical Challenge. At the Cadet Police Academy, Erick completed many programs offered, including the elite Career Development program, where he was named Top Academic Award recipient.
