NERLEEA Skills Day
The Skills Day program aims to deliver training for our young members, prioritizing skill enhancement over competition. Unlike our Station Day competition, the focus is on honing the skills our cadets have acquired in their home departments. Based on valuable feedback from our cadets, we’ve expanded the range of activities and reduced classroom lecture sessions. This adjustment allows cadets to gain more practical, hands-on experience. We invite all interested parties to join us for a day filled with engaging, educational experiences.
The event will be limited to 150 cadets and will consist solely of hands-on stations. We suggest that posts with a large number of cadets prioritize registering those with less experience, although groups will be divided based on skill levels.
Events may include but are not limited to the following:
- Building Searches
- Patrol Responses
- Tactical Response
- Crisis Intervention
- Search and Control / Combatives
- Stop the Bleed
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
