DANBURY POLICE EXPLORERS PROVIDED ‘INVALUABLE SERVICE’ WITH PARADE

June 24, 2018 – NEWSTIMES

Gerard Smith from the Danbury Veterans Council

The City of Danbury Police Explorers provided an invaluable service in and during the Danbury Memorial Day Parade on May 28. Theirs was the difficult and thankless task of controlling vehicle traffic into and out of the parade area, allowing entrance and exit to personnel and generally keeping things sorted out.

As a driver of one of the parade vehicles transporting personnel, equipment, and service, I was very impressed with their professionalism, intelligence and flexibility, without which we would not have been able accomplish our part of the parade mission.

Lt. Matt McNally, Officer David Antedomenico and each of the explorers deserve a lot of credit. Thanks and keep up the good work.
